The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has declared the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Entrance Test 2026 result on June 1, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the test can now check their scorecards on the official result portal at studentservices.ignou.ac.in/bed_result/.
The result is also accessible through the main IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in and the dedicated admission portal at ignou-bed.samarth.edu.in. To access the scorecard, candidates must log in using their Enrolment Number as issued in the application form.
The B.Ed Entrance Test 2026 was conducted on March 29, 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The test was held in two shifts, the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates can follow these steps to access the B.Ed Entrance Test 2026 scorecard from the official portal.

- Click on the B.Ed Entrance Test 2026 result link on the homepage.
- Enter the Enrolment Number as provided in the application form.

What Comes Next After the Result?
IGNOU will release a Nodal Regional Centre-wise merit list for qualified candidates. The list will carry each candidate's name, application number, and rank obtained.
Counselling for B.Ed admission to the January 2026 session will be conducted at IGNOU Regional Centres. Seat allotment will follow region-wise and cluster-wise merit rank along with seat availability.
According to the official notice, counselling sessions will be held at designated Programme Study Centres on Saturdays and Sundays. The maximum intake per centre is 50 candidates as per university norms.
