Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) will conduct online counselling for admissions to PG and PhD programs for the 2024-25 academic year. Admissions are open for PG programs in Veterinary disciplines and PhD programs in Agriculture & Allied Science disciplines.

The counselling will be held for admission to 30% of seats of ICAR-AUs* for PG and PG programs. However, counselling for 100% of seats will be held for ICAR-DUs, RLBCAU, and Jhansi for both programs (Dr. RPCAU, Pusa for only PhD program).

The deadline for registration and payment of counselling fee along with choice filling for the 4 rounds of counselling is till January 10, 2025, 11:59 pm. Candidates can check the schedule for the Counselling Rounds (1-4) below.

Mop up Round 2024-25 Schedule

After the completion of 4 rounds of counselling, ICAR will conduct the mop-up/final round. ICAR will release the matrix of vacant seats. Accordingly, candidates will have to do a fresh registration and choice filling, along with the payment of counselling fee.

No upgradation will be permitted in the mop-up/final round of counseling. The option for withdrawal/cancellation of seats through the applicant login will not be available to the candidates in the mop-up round and the seat acceptance fee is non-refundable. The candidates who already stand admitted / withdrawn / denied admission in the previous rounds (1-4) are not allowed to participate in the mop-up/final round of counselling.
