HPU PG Admission 2026 Ongoing; Apply by April 26

Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) Shimla has opened admissions for postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2026-27. Entrance-based courses deadline is April 26, 2026, while merit-based and short-term/diploma courses deadline is June 14, 2026.

Candidates can apply online through the official admission portal at nadmissions.hpushimla.in. The university is accepting applications for entrance-based courses, merit-based courses, and short-term/diploma/PG diploma courses across multiple disciplines.

Himachal Pradesh University offers admission to a wide range of PG, diploma, and certificate programmes. Entrance-based PG courses include M.A. (Hindi, English, Economics, Psychology, etc.), M.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Data Science & AI), M.Com., MBA (Rural Development), MCA, LLB, B.Ed., M.Tech., and MFA.

Merit-based admissions are available for select courses like Defence Studies, Education, Archaeology, Forensic Science, and Library Science. The university also offers PG diplomas, diploma, advanced diploma, and certificate courses in areas like languages, Yoga, Human Rights, Environmental Science, and skill-based subjects. The fee ranges from ₹25,800 to ₹93,000, and candidates must apply online through the official admission portal.
