Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) has released HP PAT 2026 admit cards. The hall ticket is live on the board portal hptechboard.com. The Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test will be held on June 7, 2026. Candidates need their registration number and date of birth to log in. The admit card carries the candidate name, centre code and reporting time.

The state-level test fills diploma seats in Himachal polytechnic institutes. Admission depends only on the rank secured in this single exam. Aspirants must reach the centre at least one hour before reporting time. Entry will be denied without the printed admit card and a valid photo ID.

The download process is short and takes only a few minutes. Candidates must keep their login credentials ready before they begin.

• Click on the HP PAT 2026 Admit Card link on the homepage.
• Enter your registration number and date of birth or password.
• Type the captcha shown on the screen.
• Click submit to view your hall ticket.
• Download the PDF and take two clear printouts.

HP PAT 2026 Exam Pattern

HPTSB conducts the HP PAT in offline pen and paper mode. The question paper carries 150 multiple choice questions for 600 marks. Candidates get three hours to finish the exam.

What Should Candidates Carry to the Exam Centre?

• The admit card alone is not enough for centre entry. Candidates must also carry a valid government photo ID. The board has flagged a strict list of banned items at the venue.
• Printed copy of the HP PAT 2026 admit card.
• One original photo ID such as Aadhaar, passport or school ID.
• Blue or black ball point pens for marking responses.
• A transparent water bottle if allowed at the centre.
• Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators and printed material are not allowed. Any case of impersonation can lead to debarment from the exam.

2. Check every detail like name, photo and centre code carefully.
3. Keep one original photo ID ready along with the hall ticket.
4. Plan travel to the exam centre at least a day before.
