Atal Medical and Research University, Himachal Pradesh has released the NEET counseling Round 2 category-wise final merit list for the PG MD/MS Ayurveda, and BAMS/BHMS courses on October 7, 2024. Candidates can check the final seat allotment result from the official website i.e. https://amruhp.ac.in/. The final seat allotment result for PG MD/MS Ayurveda has been made based on the AIAPGET 2024 score. Seats are allotted based on various factors including choices made by the candidates during the HP NEET counseling registration, availability of seats in the selected institutions, and the rank of the candidate in the entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates need to verify their documents and report to the allotted college with admission fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Further Counselling Rounds

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for HP NEET Counselling.

  • Candidates must have passed class 11 from HP.
  • Children of regular employees of HP Government.
  • Candidates who did not secure any seats in previous counselling rounds can apply for subsequent rounds.
  • Candidates who are allotted seats in previous rounds but want to upgrade their seats, are also eligible for the subsequent rounds.
  • Parents domiciled in HP who are working with the Central Government
  • Parents domiciled in HP who are serving in Indian Defence Services/ Ex-Serviceman/Para Military Forces
  • Parents domiciled in HP who have passed any two examinations (class 10/ 11/ 12) from an institute located in Himachal Pradesh.

Documents Required for HP NEET Counselling

Required documents for the counseling and admission process are listed below.

  • NEET 2024 Admit card
  • NEET 2024 Scorecard
  • Character certificate issued by the Principal of the School (From where he/she cleared class XII exams)
  • Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)
  • Passing Certificate of Class XII issued by the respective board
  • Matriculation or equivalent certificate for date of birth proof
  • Class XII mark sheet issued by the respective board.

Aspirants must keep photocopies of two to three sets of the original document handy. This would be helpful in various stages of counselling and admission process and also in the case where the candidate has made an application to two or more colleges.

Next Step for Selected Candidates

Candidates who have secured a seat in the first round have to complete the following processes.

  • Acceptance of Allotment: Candidates have to first confirm the acceptance of the allotted seat.
  • Document Verification: Arrange all the required documents including educational certificates and ID proofs and submit those for verification.
  • Fee Payment: They have to pay the amount specified by the allotted institution to confirm their seat.
  • Reporting: Lastly candidates are required to report to the allotted college within the specified time to complete the admission process.

If you did not secure a seat in the first round or you want to upgrade your seat, you have to participate in the subsequent rounds of counseling. You are advised to stay updated about the dates and procedures for future allotment rounds.
