Haryana NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Special Stray Round Schedule and PWBD Category Notification Released

PT. B. D. SHARMA UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES, Rohtak has released the counseling schedule for Haryana NEET UG Special Stray Round. This phase offers a last opportunity for candidates to secure admission to MBBS/BDS courses in government, government-aided, and private medical/dental colleges across Haryana, including private universities like SGT University, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Al-Falah University, and PDM University.

Special Stray Round Key Dates and Schedule

Key Guidelines for Candidates

• Registration & Eligibility:

  Candidates already registered in previous rounds (Round-1, Round-2, Round-3, and Stray Round) do not need to re-register. However, those who wish to participate in the Special Stray Round must deposit the security fee:

  • ₹10,000 for State Quota seats (₹5,000 for SC/BC/EWS/PWBD candidates of Haryana).
  • ₹1,00,000 for State/Management Quota seats in private colleges or universities.

• Fresh Choices Required:

  All previous choices submitted during earlier rounds will be nullified. Candidates must submit fresh preferences for the Special Stray Round.

• Forfeiture of Security Fee:

  If a candidate is allotted a seat but fails to join, the deposited security fee will be forfeited.

• Restrictions on Participation:
  • Candidates who already joined seats through All India Counselling or state counselling up to the Stray Round are not eligible.
  • Those allotted seats in Round-3 or Stray Round cannot participate in the Special Stray Round.

PWBD Candidates: Mandatory Medical Examination

Candidates applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) category must report to Pt. B.D. Sharma University, Rohtak, on November 25 and 26, 2024 (10:00 AM), for a medical examination and certification as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

• Exemptions:

  Candidates possessing a valid disability certificate issued by designated centers as listed in the NEET UG 2024 Information Bulletin are not required to appear for the medical examination again.
