Gujarat: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has extended the registration deadline for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026. As per the latest official update, eligible candidates can now apply online till January 16, 2026. Earlier, the last date to submit the application form was December 30, 2025. Students are advised not to wait until the last day to avoid technical issues.

GUJCET 2026 is a mandatory entrance exam for admission to Degree Engineering and Degree/Diploma Pharmacy courses in Gujarat. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria must complete the application process through the official website gujcet.gseb.org. The exam date remains unchanged, and GUJCET 2026 will be conducted on March 29, 2026. Ensure the ₹350 fee is paid successfully, and students need to pay ₹1000 for the late fee.

GUJCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for GUJCET 2026, applicants must be Indian citizens and either residents of Gujarat or have completed their Class 10 and 12 education from Gujarat. Candidates should have passed or be appearing in the Class 12 Science stream.

Engineering aspirants must have Physics and Mathematics, while Pharmacy aspirants require Physics and Chemistry. The minimum required marks are 45% for the General category and 40% for the reserved categories, with a minimum age of 17 years.

GUJCET 2026 Important Documents

When filling out the GUJCET 2026 application form, keep these key points in mind to ensure your registration is successful:

  • Personal Information: Enter your full name, date of birth, gender, and contact details exactly as they appear on your school records.
  • Academic Records: Provide accurate details regarding your Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) exams, including seat numbers and school names.
  • Group Selection: Carefully select your subject group:
    • Group A: For Engineering (Maths).
    • Group B: For Pharmacy (Biology).
    • Group AB: For both.
  • Medium of Exam: Choose your preferred language for the question paper (Gujarati, Hindi, or English).
  • Photo & Signature Upload:
    • Format: Must be in JPG or JPEG format.
    • Size: File size must be between 5 KB and 50 KB.
    • Dimensions: Ensure the images are clear and not blurred.
  • Payment & Final Submission: Ensure the ₹350 fee is paid successfully, and students need to pay ₹1000 for the late fee. The form is only considered "Submitted" once the payment status is updated.

GUJCET 2026-How to Apply?

To apply for GUJCET 2026, candidates must first register using their name, mobile number, and email ID. After OTP verification, they need to log in, pay the application fee, and fill out the detailed application form. The application fee is ₹350, which is the same for all categories. Payment can be made online using a credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, or offline through the SBI branch payment option.

GSEB has also confirmed that the online payment window will remain active till midnight on January 16, 2026. A correction window is expected to open in January 2026, allowing candidates to make minor changes in their application forms.
