GU PG Application Form

Gauhati University has launched applications for applicants eligible for admission to its Post Graduate program under the "Other Quota" restriction. Candidates can complete the form in the prescribed format provided below and return it in person or by post on or before January 17, 2025. Candidates who are disabled, former GU employees, wards of ex-defense employees, and others are eligible to apply. Final admission will be determined by the availability of seats.

Gauhati University Other Quota PG Program Eligible Candidates

Candidates under the below-listed category are eligible to take admission in the post-graduate program of Gauhati University under the Other Quota reservation:

  • Son and daughter of GU employee
  • Son and daughter of GU's permanent ex-employee
  • NCC
  • NSS
  • Fringe village
  • Extra-curricular and co-curricular activities
  • Differently abled
  • Son and daughter of ex-defence person

Gauhati University Other Quota PG Program Documents Required

Candidates must have with them the below-listed documents at the time of registration:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Past academic certificates ( From class 10 onwards)
  • Disability certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • If you are the son or daughter of a GU employee or an ex-employee, proof
  • If you are the son or daughter of a defense employee

If the supporting documentation supplied by the candidate proving his/her eligibility to take admission under the special quota for the GU PG program is determined to be irrelevant, his/her admission will be declared revoked, and no refund will be issued if any fee payment has been made.
