GPAT 2026 allows candidates to verify if the answers they selected were recorded correctly.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is expected to release the GPAT 2026 Response Sheet shortly. Following the successful completion of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) on March 7, 2026, candidates will soon be able to access their recorded responses online at the official website, natboard.edu.in.
The response sheet is a digital document that contains the answers a candidate marks during the computer-based exam. It is released alongside the provisional answer key so that students can compare their answers with the official ones.
Why is GPAT 2026 Response Sheet Important for Students?
- Score Calculation: Students use it to estimate their marks before the official results are declared.
- Accuracy Check: It allows candidates to verify if the answers they selected were recorded correctly.
- Objection Filing: If a student finds a discrepancy in the official answer key, they can use their response sheet as a reference to challenge the key during the objection window.

GPAT 2026 Expected Cutoff vs. Previous Year (2025)
| Category | 2025 Cutoff Marks (Actual) | 2026 Expected Cutoff |
|---|---|---|
| General (UR) | 216 | 215 – 230 |
| EWS | 172 | 165 – 175 |
| OBC-NCL | 168 | 160 – 170 |
| SC | 119 | 110 – 120 |
| ST | 85 | 80 – 90 |
To accurately estimate their final marks, candidates must follow the official marking scheme provided by NBEMS. For every correct response identified by comparing the response sheet with the answer key, the student should add 4 marks to their total.
However, the exam incorporates negative marking, meaning that for every incorrect answer, a penalty of 1 mark is deducted. Questions that were left unattempted or marked for review do not attract any marks, and zero marks are assigned to them. By totaling the marks for correct answers and subtracting the penalty for wrong ones, students can derive their predicted GPAT 2026 score before the final results are officially declared.
Candidates are advised to check the official website, natboard.edu.in, and collegedunia.com for the latest updates.
