The cycle covers all undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated programmes on the main Amritsar campus and at constituent campuses in Gurdaspur and Jalandhar, with programme-specific last dates running from June through July 2026. Programmes Offered in 2026-27
GNDU offers more than 150 programmes across over 40 teaching departments spanning arts, science, commerce, engineering, law, management, pharmacy, and health sciences. Five-year integrated programmes such as BBA+MBA, BCA+MCA, and BCom+MCom allow students to complete both UG and PG qualifications in a single enrolment, with structured exit options available after three or four years for those who wish to leave with a UG degree.

Registration Fee for 2026-27
The registration fee is charged on a per-programme-group basis and is non-refundable under any circumstance. Payment can be completed through net banking, debit or credit card, or by depositing a bank challan at any HDFC Bank branch. Candidates applying for more than one programme group must pay the fee separately for each group at the time of form submission.

Eligibility Criteria
For most UG programmes, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. A relaxation to 45% is available for SC and ST candidates in select programmes. BTech and B.Arch require at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. BTech seats are filled based on JEE Main 2026 All India Rank, with 85% of available seats allocated to Punjab domicile candidates and 15% open to applicants from all states.
For PG programmes, candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks. MBA admission is through a university-conducted management entrance test. LLM admission is decided by a separate entrance test held at the Amritsar, Gurdaspur, and Jalandhar campuses. Admissions to all other PG programmes are merit-based on qualifying examination scores.

Seat Reservation Policy
GNDU follows the Punjab state reservation policy for government and government-aided institutions. Candidates must present valid and current certificates issued by a competent authority at the time of document verification during counselling. Seats for Border Area and Rural Area candidates are supernumerary, meaning they are over and above the sanctioned intake for each programme.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step
- Open the official admission portal at gnduadmissions.org and generate your login credentials using your name, mobile number, and email address.
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1,500 (General) or Rs 750 (SC, Punjab domicile) through the online payment gateway or by depositing a challan at an HDFC Bank branch.
- Select the programme group you wish to apply for, then complete the application form with accurate academic and personal details.
- Upload scanned copies of your Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, a recent passport-size photograph, and your category certificate if you are claiming any reservation benefit.
