GM University PhD Admission 2024 Open; Apply by January 15

Gangadhar Meher University is inviting applications for PhD programs for the December 2024 session. The last date for receiving the hard copy of the application at the University counter or by post is January 15, 2025, up to 5:00 pm.

GM University PhD Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
• A valid NET score. The NET candidates will be declared eligible in three categories:
  • Eligible for (i) admission to Ph.D. with JRF and (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor.
  • Eligible for (i) admission to Ph.D. without JRF and (ii) appointment as Assistant Professor.
  • Eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program only and not for the award of JRF or appointment as Assistant Professor.
• For students without JRF, 70% weightage will be given for test scores and 30% weightage for the interview.
• A relaxation of 5% marks is allowed for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/Differently-Abled candidates.
• Candidates who have qualified GATE/ JEST/ DBT/ INSPIRE/ NFST/ NFSC/ NFOBC/ICHR/ ICPR/ ICSSR/ ICMR or any other National level exams and possess National/ State level fellowships are also eligible.

Candidates should download the Application Form from the university website (gmuniversity.ac.in) and submit the filled-in form with an Original Bank Draft of INR 1500 in favor of “The Comptroller of Finance, G. M. University, Sambalpur”, payable at Sambalpur.
