Great Lakes Institute of Management has extended the FPM 2026 application deadline, offering stipend, housing, and research support to scholars.

Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM), Chennai has extended the application deadline for its Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) 2026 intake to February 16, 2026. The doctoral-level programme is designed for candidates interested in research and academic careers in Marketing and Finance & Accounting.
Eligible candidates with postgraduate qualifications and valid national-level test scores can apply online through the institute’s official website before the revised deadline to secure admission.
Who is Eligible to Apply for FPM 2026?
Candidates must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria:
- Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks, OR
- Two-year postgraduate diploma, OR
- Five-year integrated master’s degree
- Final-year postgraduate students are also eligible to apply
- Valid scores in JRF (NET) / CAT / GMAT / GRE / XAT
Applicants are advised to keep their entrance test scores ready during the application process.
GLIM provides strong financial support to selected scholars, allowing them to focus fully on their research without worrying about expenses.
Admitted candidates receive a monthly stipend of ₹50,000 for the first two years, which increases to ₹65,000 per month for the next two years, while fifth-year funding is offered based on satisfactory dissertation progress.

The institute also provides single-occupancy campus accommodation (subject to availability) and limited housing for married scholars. In addition, students get financial assistance for conferences, data collection, books, and software, along with a new customized laptop for academic work.
Scholars and their immediate family are also covered under the group health insurance policy, making the programme highly attractive for full-time research aspirants.
How to Apply for GLIM Chennai FPM?
Interested candidates must visit the official website and complete the online application form before February 16, 2026. Applicants should upload academic documents, entrance test scores, and other required details while applying. It is recommended to apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
After the application process, shortlisted candidates may be called for further evaluation, interviews, or research discussions as per institute guidelines. Final selections will be announced by GLIM.
