GGSIPU Begins Admission to PhD Winter Session 2024-25, Register Till November 30

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is inviting applications for admission to PhD programs for the Winter session of academic year 2024-25. The application starts on November 1, 2024, and the last date is November 30, 2024. Candidates can apply through the official website of GGSIPU or use the direct link provided below for the same.

Eligibility Criteria

• Admission will be taken based on the Ph.D. entrance test (PET) and interview.
• Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme should have completed a 1-year/2- semester master's degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

OR

• Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. programme should have completed a 2-year/4- semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

OR

• Candidates seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade.

OR

• Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade are also eligible.
• UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET /GATE/CEED and other similar National Level Test qualified candidates shall be exempted from the entrance test conducted by the University for Admission to the Ph.D. program.
• Admission shall also be done on the basis of NET Score
