GEC Raipur has extended application deadlines for various scholarship programs for 2024-25. Read the article below for details.

Government Engineering College in Raipur has extended application deadlines for Post Matric Scholarship and AICTE Pragati Saksham Scholarship for the 2024-25 session. These scholarships aim to support students from SC/ST/OBC communities, as well as female and specially-abled students. The last application dates for the Post Matric Scholarship and AICTE Pragati Saksham Scholarship are November 30 and 15, 2024 respectively.

AICTE Pragati & Saksham Scholarship

This scholarship is for specially-abled students.

Eligibility
  • Must be admitted to the first or second year of a degree-level course through lateral entry at an AICTE-approved institution.
  • Family income should not be more than ₹8 lakh per year.
  • The candidate must have a disability of not less than 40%.
Required Documents
  • Admission confirmation document
  • 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets for fresh applicants; renewal applicants must submit their previous year’s passing certificate.
  • Disability certificate
  • Family income certificate
  • Bank account details linked with the Aadhar card
  • Current academic fee receipt

Post Matric Scholarship

This scheme is for supporting students belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories. Only fresh applications are accepted for first-semester students.

Note: OBC students are eligible only for the non-refundable fee, while SC and ST students must complete an OTR registration. The scholarships are awarded only if the student does not receive any other financial aid from other sources.
