GATE COAP 2024 Registrations will begin from March 18 onwards. IIT Kanpur has launched the website for the GATE COAP 2024 at iitk.ac.in/coap2024.

New Delhi: The registrations for the GATE COAP 2024 will begin on March 18, 2024. IIT Kanpur will be conducting the GATE COAP 2024 after the GATE Results 2024 are released on March 16, 2024. The first set of GATE COAP 2024 offers is likely to be sent between May 11 to May 16, 2024.

The official website for GATE COAP 2024 has also been launched by IIT Kanpur. Participating institutes and PSUs will upload all their offers during a common time window, and those who have valid GATE 2024 scores can register for COAP 2024 on the official website at iitk.ac.in/coap2024.

To register for GATE COAP 2024, you have to enter your GATE Registration number, a valid GATE score, and your registered email ID and phone number. You need a COAP registration number to apply for IIT M.Tech admission. So to complete your IIT admissions, you need to first complete your GATE COAP registration 2024.

How to Register for GATE COAP 2024?

Step 1: Go to the official GATE COAP website at iitk.ac.in/coap2024.

Step 2: Click on the “Register” button.

Step 3: Fill out all the necessary details and begin the GATE COAP process.

Q. What is COAP? How will GATE COAP 2024 be conducted?

Ans. Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is an initiative by IITs where candidates can check the status of their application for M.Tech admissions to IITs through GATE. It is not an M.Tech admission portal and candidates must therefore register at respective IIT portals for applications and then register at the GATE COAP 2024 portal. The portal will display which IIT has offered seats for admission to the M.Tech program

Q. In case I have applied for admissions at IIT, do I need to apply again for COAP 2024?

Ans. Yes, for postgraduate admissions to IIT, candidates will have to apply separately through the COAP portal. All GATE-qualified candidates should register at the GATE COAP 2024 portal for deciding on their offer.

Q. What is the minimum eligibility requirement to appear for GATE COAP 2024?

Ans. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in technology with a valid GATE score to apply for GATE COAP 2024. Candidates undergoing examinations of the final year of the course are also eligible to apply.
