The GATE 2026 scorecard has been released by IIT Guwahati on the official website. Candidates can download it using their login credentials and use it for ME/MTech/PhD admissions and PSU recruitment.

GATE 2026 Scorecard Out

The scorecard for GATE 2026 has been officially released on the website hosted by IIT Guwahati. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now download their scorecards from gate2026.iitg.ac.in using their login credentials.

The GATE 2026 scorecard is a crucial document for candidates seeking admission to ME, MTech, and PhD programmes across IITs, NITs, and other participating institutes. It includes important details such as marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), qualifying marks, and score validity. As per official norms, the GATE score remains valid for three years from the date of result declaration.

Candidates can download their scorecards free of cost until May 31, 2026. Thereafter, scorecards can be accessed from June 1 to December 31, 2026, by paying a fee of ₹500 per test paper.

Along with admissions, the GATE score is also used for recruitment in several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), making it an important milestone for engineering graduates.

How to Download GATE Scorecard 2026?

  • Visit the official website of GATE 2026
  • Click on the application portal/login link
  • Enter your enrollment ID and password
  • Select the option to download the scorecard
  • Download the file and take a printout for future use

Make sure to keep multiple copies of the scorecard for admissions and recruitment purposes.

GATE 2026: Candidates Appeared for CSE and DA

As per available data, a significant number of candidates appeared for GATE 2026 in the CSE and DA papers. The detailed figures are given below:

  • CSE (Computer Science and Information Technology): 2,11,020 candidates
  • DA (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence): 69,242 candidates

Overall, more than 2 lakh candidates appeared for the CSE paper alone, making it one of the most competitive branches in GATE 2026. The official cutoff marks, toppers list, and detailed statistics are expected to be released soon by IIT Guwahati.

COAP 2026 Registration Open for GATE Qualified Candidates

The registration process for COAP 2026 has started on the official portal managed by IIT Roorkee. Candidates who have qualified in GATE 2026 can register at coap2026.iitr.ac.in to participate in admission and PSU recruitment processes.

COAP is a centralised platform where GATE-qualified candidates can view and accept offers for ME/MTech/PhD admissions and PSU jobs. The authorities have released the complete schedule for Offer Rounds 1 to 10, and candidates must log in during each round to choose options like “Accept and Freeze,” “Retain and Wait,” or “Reject and Wait.” Applicants are advised to register on time and stay updated throughout the counselling rounds to avoid missing any offers.
