GATE 2025: IIT Roorkee Extended Application Form Correction Deadline

IIT Roorkee has extended the deadline for application form corrections until November 20, 2024. Previously, the last date for candidates to make corrections was set for November 10. Registered candidates now have additional time to edit or correct any details in their application forms by visiting the GOAPS portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

The GATE 2025 exam, scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, will cover 30 test papers and allow candidates across various disciplines to pursue postgraduate studies or seek recruitment in public sector undertakings.

How to Edit the GATE 2025 Application Form

Candidates can follow these steps to access the form correction window on the GOAPS portal:

1. Visit the official GATE 2025 website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in
2. Log in using your Enrollment ID and Password.
3. Click on the “Edit” option to access the application form.
4. Make the necessary corrections as per the instructions provided.
5. Complete the captcha and make the required payment, if applicable.
6. Download and print the modified GATE 2025 application form for your records.

GATE 2025 Correction Fees

Correction fees vary depending on the type of changes needed. Here is a breakdown of the charges for each modification:

• Change in Name: INR 500
• Change in Date of Birth: INR 500
• Change in Exam Cities: INR 500
• Adding Second Paper: INR 500 (includes additional paper fee)
• Change of Gender (female to other): INR 1,400 (INR 500 + INR 900)
• Change of Category from SC/ST to any other: INR 1,400 (INR 500 + INR 900 for all other candidates)
• Disability Status Change: INR 1,400 for certain changes; INR 500 for others

Other details, such as parents' information, correspondence address, and college name, can be modified without any fees.IIT Roorkee urges candidates to review their application details carefully, as no further corrections will be allowed after the November 20 deadline.
