The shortlisted candidates will receive emails instructing them of the preparations they need to make for the interview/presentation/PI sessions and the documents they need to carry with them on the day of the interview.

Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, has released the PhD Admission Shortlist 2026. Candidates shortlisted for admission can now download the official shortlist PDF from the institute’s website.

As per the official notification, the interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on February 7 and February 8, 2026.

Candidates shortlisted for the FMS Delhi PhD Program 2026 are required to appear for the interview as per the schedule mentioned in the official notice. The interview will be conducted in accordance with the selection criteria prescribed by the institute.

FMS Delhi PhD Admission 2026 Documents Required for Interview Verification

Candidates shortlisted for the interview must bring the original documents along with one set of photocopies for verification at the time of the interview:

Class 10 and Class 12 certificates and mark sheets.
Graduation degree certificate and all semester/year-wise mark sheets.
Postgraduate degree certificate and mark sheets (if applicable).
Original scorecard of NET / JRF / CAT or any other equivalent examination, clearly indicating the total marks obtained.
JRF or any other scholarship certificate (if applicable).
Reservation Category / Eligibility Certificate (if applicable).
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer (if applicable).

FMS Delhi PhD Admission 2026 Instructions for Research Proposal Presentation

Candidates are required to:

Prepare a PowerPoint / visual presentation, preferably 5 slides (not exceeding 10 slides), covering:
- Problem statement,
- Research/Evidence gap,
- Key research questions,
- Research objectives,
- Proposed research design and methodology.

Carry the PDF version of the presentation on a pen drive, which will be uploaded to the system during the document verification process.
Bring one hard copy of the Research Proposal.
Carry any additional documentary evidence of prior research, such as:
- Published research papers.
- Conference proceedings.
- Research projects or reports (if any).

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions mentioned in the official PhD admission notice and carry all required documents on the day of the interview. Final admission will be based on interview performance and other criteria set by FMS Delhi.
