JIPMER announced the final and open counseling for admission to BSc courses. Document verification for the counseling is scheduled for 18 December 2024.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has scheduled the Final & Open Counselling for vacant seats in BSc Nursing and Allied Health Sciences courses for the academic year 2024-25. The counselling will take place on December 18, 2024 (Wednesday) at the JIPMER Academic Centre, Puducherry.

This round aims to fill four vacant seats, as listed below. Additional vacancies may arise due to student withdrawals or course switches until 1:00 PM on December 18, 2024.

Instructions for Candidates

Certificate Verification:
- Candidates must report in person with all original documents as per the merit list published on the JIPMER website.
- A valid checklist and the required documents must be presented for entry into the verification hall.
- Only verified candidates can participate in the counselling process.
Counselling:
- Begins at 3:00 PM on December 18, 2024.
- Seats will be allotted based on the Roster-Point Allocation method.
Post-Counselling Procedures:
- Admission fee payment and medical examination on December 19, 2024.
- Selected candidates must report to their respective departments immediately for classes, which commenced on November 25, 2024.

Document Requirements

Candidates must bring the following in original, along with three photocopies:

NEET (UG) 2024 Admit Card and Scorecard
JIPMER BSc Courses application form
Proof of date of birth (X Certificate/Birth Certificate)
XII Marksheet and Pass Certificate
Valid ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card)
Category certificates (if applicable)

Note: Candidates failing to produce valid documents or certificates in the prescribed format will forfeit their eligibility.

Important Notes

Candidates switching courses from the previous counselling held on November 20, 2024, will incur a mid-stream penalty if they opt for a new course.
Parents/guardians are not allowed inside the counselling venue but may wait in designated areas.
