A Paper-Based Test (PBT) for all Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Programmes will be conducted on 10th May 2026 at 38 cities.

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) has announced the admission schedule for UG and PG programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Admissions will be conducted through the All India Selection Test (AIST) 2026, and the online application process will commence on December 20, 2025, as per the official notification released by the institute.
According to the admission calendar, the last date to submit the online application for AIST 2026 is April 20, 2026. Candidates who miss the deadline will be given a final opportunity to apply with a late fee until April 30, 2026. An open window for editing application forms will be available on April 21 and 22, 2026, while admit cards will be issued from May 1, 2026. The AIST 2026 examination is scheduled to be held on May 10, 2026, in paper-based mode.

The entrance examination will be conducted at 38 cities across India, and candidates will be allowed to select only one preferred examination centre. The merit list and counselling schedule will be announced later on the official website. The last date for fee submission is July 15, 2026, while the date of orientation and commencement of classes will be notified separately.
