Who is Eligible for Subsequent Round of FDDI AIST 2024 Seat Allotment?
Eligible candidates for the seat allotment process in the subsequent round would be from one of the below-mentioned groups:
- Group I consists of registered candidates who did not receive any seat allotment.
- Group II includes registered candidates whose initially allotted seat was cancelled due to missing documents or a change in category from reserved to unreserved or PWD status. Candidates in Group II are still eligible for the next round of seat allotment, provided they fulfill the eligibility conditions.
- Group III comprises candidates who opted for second round of up-gradation by selecting "Accept with upgrade" and paid the first-semester balance fee based on the first allotment.
Who is not Eligible for FDDI AIST 2024 2nd Round of Allotment?
Candidates will be allotted seats based on their top preference in the first round. The below-mentioned candidates are not eligible for the counselling process of FDDI AIST 2024:
- Candidates who attended the first counselling session but failed to submit the balance fee for the first semester.
- Candidates who confirmed their choice and selected "Accepted" for the seat allotted to them in the first round but opted out of "Accept with upgrade".
How to Apply for FDDI AIST Counselling 2024?
After checking the results candidates can proceed to apply for online counselling by selecting courses and campuses. To apply for FDDI counselling in 2024, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Candidates have to submit choice filling based on their preferences for courses & campuses.
Step 2: Applicants are required to pay a fee of INR 25,000 (adjustable against the first-semester balance fee).
After applying for the counselling process, seats will be allotted based on the candidate's FDDI AIST 2024 rank and campus preference. Candidates who are allotted seats have the option to accept the seat, accept with an upgrade for the next round of counselling, or choose to withdraw.
The counselling process allows undergraduate aspirants to fill 12 choices of campuses, while postgraduate aspirants can submit up to five choices. If a candidate is not allotted a seat, INR 15,000 will be refunded.
