University of Delhi has released the UG ECA Admission Trials 2026 tentative schedule at admission.uod.ac.in. Physical trials begin July 15 across 14 categories. Students must check the portal for centre details and reporting instructions.

DU UG ECA Admission Trials 2026 Tentative Schedule Released

The University of Delhi (DU) has released the UG Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) Trials 2026 tentative schedule. The official notice is available on the DU admission portal at admission.uod.ac.in. It was issued on July 11, 2026, and includes the trial dates and designated centres. The physical ECA trials will begin from July 15, 2026.

DU has clarified that no separate notification will be sent to candidates. No SMS or email alerts will be issued regarding the ECA trials. Registered candidates must regularly monitor the DU admission portal for trial-related updates.

The trials cover 14 ECA categories in total. Of these, 12 categories will be conducted physically at designated colleges. The remaining two categories, NCC and NSS, will be conducted online. The ECA trial performance carries 75 percent weightage in the final selection score, while the CUET UG 2026 score carries 25 percent weightage.

Candidates could apply for a maximum of three ECA categories during registration. They were also required to upload five best certificates for every selected activity. Changes in trial dates will be permitted only in exceptional circumstances and with the approval of the ECA Committee.

Documents Required at the DU ECA Trial Centre

Candidates must carry the following documents and items on the trial day:

  • Original copies of all ECA certificates uploaded during registration
  • CUET UG 2026 scorecard
  • A valid government-issued photo identity card
  • Category-specific equipment, instruments or costumes

Candidates may not be allowed to participate in the trial without the required original documents and supporting certificates.

  • Log in using the CSAS UG 2026 credentials.
  • Open the ECA Trials notification dated July 11, 2026.
  • Download the PDF containing the trial centres and dates.
  • Check the assigned reporting centre, trial date and time slot.
  • Save or print the schedule for future reference.

How to Prepare for the DU ECA Trials 2026?

Candidates appearing for dance, music and theatre trials must prepare a short performance of approximately three to five minutes. The assessment committee will evaluate the candidate’s skill, proficiency and performance in the selected category.

There is no prescribed syllabus for any ECA activity. The decision of the assessment committee regarding the marks awarded will be final and binding. No grievance, re-evaluation or second opportunity will be provided after the trial.

Candidates must reach the trial centre according to the reporting time mentioned in the schedule. They should carry their own required instruments, costumes, art supplies or other category-specific equipment.

Important Instructions for DU ECA Trials 2026

Candidates are not permitted to carry unauthorised electronic devices inside the trial venue. Audio and video recording of the trials is strictly prohibited.

The use of Artificial Intelligence tools during the trial will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature. Digital media submissions must not include image filters, AI-generated content or AI-based enhancements.

Candidates must also note that equipment sharing is not allowed between participants at any trial centre. Every candidate must arrange and carry their own equipment required for the selected ECA category.

Requests for a change in the allotted trial date will be considered only in exceptional cases and after approval from the DU ECA Committee.

Why This Matters

The ECA quota gives 75 percent weightage to trial performance. Only 25 percent comes from the CUET UG 2026 score. This makes the July 15 trials the decisive round for ECA aspirants at DU.
