Delhi University SOL has opened admissions for one-year certificate and diploma courses in nine foreign languages, including German, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Apply at cifl.oldcdu.ac.in between June 11 and July 10, 2026.

DU SOL Foreign Language Certificate and Diploma Admissions 2026

The School of Open Learning (SOL), Department of Distance and Continuing Education (DDCE), and Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) of the University of Delhi (DU) have opened admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. The notice covers one-year certificate and one-year diploma courses in foreign languages. Candidates can apply online at the Centre for Indian and Foreign Languages (CIFL) portal at cifl.oldcdu.ac.in.

The application window opened on June 11, 2026 and will close on July 10, 2026. The programmes are open to university students and working professionals across the country. The OLDC is rolling out these courses in online mode to widen access beyond Delhi.

Languages and Departments Offered

Nine foreign languages are on offer this session. Russian has been newly launched in collaboration with the Department of Slavonic and Finno-Ugrian Studies.

A First for the OLDC

Russian joins the foreign language list for the first time this session. The OLDC is also moving these programmes to online mode so learners outside Delhi can enrol without travel.
