Applications for Delhi Technological University's M.Tech and M.Tech by Research programs are now open. Applicants who have earned at least 60% in BE, B Tech, or M Sc. in a comparable field can apply online at @dtu.ac.in/ and provide supporting documentation, such as proof of identity, proof of age, and academic credentials.

DTU M.Tech Program Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be eligible as per the below-mentioned criteria to be eligible for Delhi Technological University

• A minimum of 60% in BE, B Tech, or M Sc in a related field is required of candidates OR
• Applicants who hold a Bachelor of Science or Diploma in Engineering and have AMIE, AMIS, AMIICHE, AMIIM, or Grad IETE may also apply.
• Additionally, applicants for full-time M.Tech programs need to have a current GATE scorecard.
• In addition to work experience, candidates for a funded M.Tech program should hold a BE, B Tech, or M Sc degree in a related field. Additionally, students will have to take a written exam, which they must pass with a score of 50%. Both full-time and part-time options are available for the funded M.Tech degree.
• Candidates possessing GATE 2024/2023/2022 scorecards are eligible to apply for admission to the DTU M.Tech program. Please be aware that candidates with GATE 2024 scores will be given preference over those with GATE 2023 or 2023 scorecards. Candidates can apply for places in DTU's M.Tech program through normal, sponsored, or part-time modes.
• Sponsored and part-time applicants without GATE scores are admitted to DTU. Merit in the qualifying degree is the very minimum requirement for such individuals. A one-year employment certificate must be submitted by sponsored candidates. For entrance to the BE/BTech program, a minimum percentage of 85.6% is required.

How To Apply for the DTU M.Tech Program?

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the Delhi Technological University M.Tech program

• Visit the official university website at @dtu.ac.in/, click the "Admissions" link, and choose "M.Tech."
• You'll be taken to the page for admissions.
• Sign up here. An application number will be sent to the email address and phone number you provided upon successful registration.
• Complete the application.
• Upload the necessary scanned copies of the documents.
• Use a credit/debit card or net banking to make the online application fee payment.
• An acknowledgment page will be created upon fee payment. For use at admissions in the future, print off this page.

DTU M.Tech Program Documents Required

Candidates will be required to submit the below-listed documents at the time of submitting the application.

• Academic credentials: A master's degree in science, the arts, or business from an accredited university, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology
• GATE rating: A GATE exam score that is acceptable for full-time programs
• Annual charge: A demand draft due in New Delhi made payable to "Registrar, Delhi Technological University"
• Certificate of caste or category: A caste or category certificate that has been uploaded to the online admissions portal
• Certificate of experience: For those working part-time, an original certificate of experience
• Certificate of no objection: A "No objection Certificate" for candidates working part-time
• If the most recent category certificate is not available, an assurance will be made for OBC and EWS candidates.

Students lacking GATE scores can also be admitted to DTU through sponsored and part-time programs. Applicants who receive a BE/BTech score of 85% are chosen for admission. In addition to the necessary proportion of marks, candidates in the Sponsored category must provide a certificate of employment for a full year.
