Candidates must have qualified in these exams or hold a DST-INSPIRE Fellowship to be eligible. Interested candidates can apply online by January 30, 2025. The application fee is INR 800, with a concession for Uttarakhand SC/ST candidates at INR 400.

Doon University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

National Level Examinations: Candidates must qualify for JRF (UGC/CSIR), NET (UGC/CSIR), or GATE.
NET (Ph.D. only): Candidates who cleared the NET for Ph.D. are eligible.
DST-INSPIRE Fellowship: Candidates with provisional offers are eligible but must secure the final fellowship for confirmed admission.
Admission Process:
- JRF holders: 100% weightage for interviews.
- NET and GATE holders: 70% weightage for scores and 30% for interviews.
