IIT Madras has declared the Executive MBA Final Selection Result 2026, and shortlisted applicants can now check their status online.

The Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras, has officially released the final selection result for its Executive MBA 2026 intake. Candidates who participated in the written aptitude test and interview rounds can now log in to the admission portal using their registered credentials to view their final status.

IIT Madras had earlier conducted the selection process in November, following which the institute completed the evaluation. The newly admitted batch will begin their EMBA programme in January 2026.

To be considered for the Executive MBA admission, applicants were required to meet the minimum eligibility norms set by the institute. Candidates needed 60% marks in their bachelor’s degree (55% for SC/ST/PwD) along with three years of work experience completed by December 31, 2025.

The programme accepts graduates from any discipline and also allows applicants to upload supporting documents such as work experience proof, marksheets, certificates and a CV during the online application.

The selection procedure included an online application followed by the shortlist announcement. Shortlisted applicants appeared at the IIT Madras campus on November 8 and 9, 2025 for a written aptitude test and personal interview.

The written test evaluated Business Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability. Based on overall performance, the institute prepared the final merit list, which has now been released for applicants to check.

For the current admission cycle, IIT Madras opened online applications on September 6, 2025. Applicants had to complete the online form, upload the required documents, and pay the non-refundable Rs 1500 fee.

The institute accepted applications until October 26, 2025, 11:59 pm, and only those forms submitted accurately with full fee payment were considered valid for evaluation.
