DMI Patna Begins MBA in Development Management Admissions 2026

The Development Management Institute, Patna (DMI Patna) has commenced the admission process for its 2026 batch of the two-year, full-residential Post-Graduate Diploma in Development Management (PGDM).

Aspirants across disciplines can submit their applications online before February 28, 2026. The programme combines management learning with field immersion to prepare professionals for sustainable development and leadership roles.

DMI Patna MBA 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the Post-Graduate Diploma in Development Management (PGDM) at DMI Patna, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, while SC, ST, and Differently-Abled (DA) candidates are given a relaxation of up to 45%. In addition, applicants must possess a valid score in any of the national-level management entrance exams, including CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, or MAT.

Students currently in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply, provided they complete all final-year examinations by June 21, 2026, and submit their final results by October 31, 2026. However, their admission will remain provisional until the required documents are verified.

DMI Patna MBA 2026 Admission Process

The application window for DMI Patna PGDM (2026–28) will open in October 2025 and remain active until February. The entire process is online, and the institute will not accept any offline submissions.

The application fee has been categorized based on candidate type, ₹300 for General category, ₹200 for BC, EBC, EWS, and female candidates, and ₹100 for SC, ST, and Differently-Abled (DA) applicants. Payment must be made through the online portal using internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI options.

Applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPEG or PNG format, each not exceeding 3 MB. They are also required to submit a valid ID proof, such as an Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, or Voter Card. Candidates applying under the sponsored category must additionally attach a sponsorship letter from their organization at the time of admission.

During admission, shortlisted candidates must produce their 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets, along with category or caste certificates, if applicable. Those claiming domicile of Bihar need to submit residential proof, while differently-abled candidates must present a disability certificate. Work experience certificates, if any, should also be provided to support relevant experience.

All submissions must be accurate, as DMI will not entertain any changes once the form is submitted. Candidates are advised to review their entries carefully before completing the final payment and submission process.
