DMER Tamil Nadu released the tentative schedule and seat matrix for MSc Nursing courses. Students can register for the cunselling on the official website from November 13 to November 14, 2024.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Tamil Nadu, has published the tentative seat matrix for M.Sc. Nursing courses, alongside the schedule for the third round of online counseling for the 2024-2025 session. This dual announcement provides clarity on seat availability across various specialties and ensures candidates have a clear timeline to follow for online counseling.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  • Application and Payment:

    • New candidates for counseling must pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹500 online. Previous participants who have paid need not pay again.

  • Choice Filling:

  • Seat Allotment and Admission:

    • Seat allotment is based on rank order and reservation norms.

    • Once seats are allotted, candidates must download their provisional allotment order and report to the assigned college with all required original documents by November 25, 2024.

  • Required Documents for Verification:

    • Candidates need to provide their original B.Sc. Nursing degree, mark sheets, nursing council registration, experience certificates, community and nativity certificates, proof of birth, and eligibility certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University for verification.

  • Tuition Fees:

    • ₹5,000 for government colleges and ₹50,000 for self-financing colleges, payable online. The tuition fee is non-refundable if the candidate discontinues or fails to join the course.

  • Additional Notes:

    • Candidates opting for upgradation in Round 3 must vacate their previously held seats.

    • Seat retention post-upgradation is not allowed, and failure to report by the deadline will result in automatic cancellation of admission.
