New Delhi: The Department of Commerce at University of Delhi (DU) has recently expanded its list of academic programs by launching a two-year MBA in Business Analytics program. The program will be offered to interested and eligible students from academic session 2023-24.
According to DU, the MBA in Business Analytics program has been carefully created to meet the increasing demand for young professionals who are competent and qualified in the field of business analytics across a variety of businesses.
Ajay Kumar Singh, the Department Chair stated that the MBA program's development was inspired by market demands, ensuring that it equips students with the abilities they need to excel in the rapidly evolving field of business analytics.
He continued, "With its unshakable commitment to excellence and a keen grasp of the rapidly evolving business demands, the Department of Commerce at DU has carefully constructed this comprehensive MBA (Business Analytics) program. It seeks to produce outstanding business professionals who are knowledgeable and capable of leading in today's cutthroat environment."
During the DU MBA program's opening remarks, BR Shankaranand, Akhil Bharatiya Joint Organising Secretary, Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, expressed his appreciation for Yogesh Singh's leadership as Vice Chancellor of Delhi University.
The DU Vice Chancellor, Prof Yogesh Singh emphasised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pledge to make India a developed country by 2047. The Vice-Chancellor made clear that in order to reach this objective, our per capita income must more than double its current level.
Prof. Yogesh Singh said, “This MBA (Business Analytics) program is a very relevant program. To become a developed nation, our per capita income should be six times more than at present. For this, we need a 9% growth rate for the next 25 years. All this is possible only with Business Inventors”.
