The Directorate of Higher Education Tripura has released DEEET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment. Allotted candidates must complete admission at their polytechnic institutes between July 13 and July 15 2026.

The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Tripura, has declared the DEEET 2026 Round 2 seat allotment. The result is out on the official DHE portal at highereducation.tripura.gov.in. Candidates can log in to the DEEET portal to view their allotted institute.
Allotted candidates must complete admission at their respective polytechnic institutes. The reporting window opens on July 13 and closes on July 15, 2026.
DEEET is the state entrance test for diploma engineering courses in Tripura. The DHE conducts it every year for admission to state polytechnic institutes. Round 1 counselling has already concluded. Round 2 now fills vacant seats and processes candidate upgrades.

What Does Round 2 of DEEET 2026 Cover?
Round 2 fills seats that stayed vacant after the first counselling round. It also processes upgrades for candidates who requested a better preference. Only registered DEEET 2026 candidates can take part in this round.
How to Check the DEEET 2026 Round 2 Seat Allotment?
Candidates can view their allotment status through the official DHE portal.
- Visit the DHE website at highereducation.tripura.gov.in.
- Open the notice on second round seat allotment.
- Log in to the DEEET portal at deeet.tripura.gov.in.
- Enter your application number and password.
- Check the allotted institute and diploma branch.
- Download the seat allotment letter for admission.
How to Complete Admission After Round 2 Allotment?
Allotted candidates must report at the polytechnic institute where the seat has been allotted. The admission process is offline at the institute level.
- Reach the allotted institute between July 13 and July 15, 2026.
- Carry a printed copy of the seat allotment letter.
- Bring original academic documents along with their photocopies.
- Pay the admission fee as prescribed by the institute.
- Collect the admission confirmation slip before leaving.
What Happens If You Miss the Admission Window?
Missing the July 15 deadline can lead to cancellation of the allotted seat. The vacated seat can then be released for a further round of counselling. Candidates are advised to plan travel and documents in advance.
A confirmed seat becomes final only after admission is completed at the institute. Candidates who skip reporting lose their claim on the allotted seat.
