Interested and eligible candidates can enroll for DAIICT PhD Admission through the official portal, @daiict.ac.in, till May 15, 2023.

DAIICT offers a three-year Ph.D programme in 2 modes, i.e, Regular and Rolling. Candidates seeking PhD admission from DAIICT can submit the online application form before the deadline.

DAIICT PhD Admission 2023: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

In order to enrol for admission to the DAIICT PhD programme, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility & selection criteria.

PhD (ICT and Allied Domains/Mathematics and Natural Science)	Candidates must hold a M.Tech. /M.E./ M.C.A./ M.Sc./ M.Phil. /B.Tech/ B.E. or equivalent degree in ICT / CS / EC / IT / EE / IN / Mathematics / Statistics / Physics / Bioinformatics / Electronics or other relevant stream with 60% marks or its equivalent in the qualifying degree as per the norms set by degree awarding Institute/University.	Mode 1: Candidates with a Valid GATE score will have to attend Interview. Mode 2: They'll have a proctored online entrance test followed by a personal/ online interview.
PhD (Arts, Humanities, and Social Science) s	Candidates must possess either M.A./ M.Com./ M.B.A./ M.Phil. or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent as per the norms set by the degree awarding Institute/University. M. Phil. degree holders will be highly preferred. Candidates must give an accurate academic statement of purpose (SOP) conveying his/her intellectual background, research interests, achievements, and competences.	Mode 1: Candidates with a valid UGC-NET JRF and/or M Phil degree will get shortlisted for the interview which is completely based on their statement of purpose (SOP) and other relevant academic credentials. Mode 2: Further, they will have to appear for a proctored online entrance test followed by a personal /online interview.
External (Part-time)	Candidates possessing educational qualifications as mentioned above in the category with three years of relevant experience are eligible. They must be working in an R&D organization or university/institution. Candidates who intend to apply in this category should forward his/her application through proper channels, that is, forwarding a certificate/letter by the head of the department/institute.	Mode 1: Candidates with a valid UGC-NET JRF/DST Inspire/ PM scholarship/ Visvesvaraya PhD scheme at the time of application are eligible for direct interview. Mode 2: The shortlisted candidates will have to attend a proctored online entrance test followed by a personal/online interview.
