CUSAT Fee Structure 2026 Released

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has officially released the fee structure for the 2026 admission cycle across undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The university has shared detailed tuition, semester and one-time charges for engineering, science, management and research courses.

Students applying this year can now check programme-wise costs, admission fees, caution deposits and additional semester expenses before completing enrolment. The revised structure helps candidates estimate their total academic spending in advance.

Students should also note the late payment penalties and common mandatory charges applicable during admission and odd semesters. In case of delayed semester fee payment, the university imposes a fine of ₹500, while continued delay attracts a superfine of ₹2,000.

At the time of admission, most students must pay several standard charges including ₹1,900 for extra-curricular activities, ₹1,600 as miscellaneous fees (₹2,100 for Marine programmes), ₹3,000 PTA fee for UG/PG courses, and ₹5,000 for SOE/CUCEK/KMSME students.

Additional payments include ₹600 for campus radio, ₹400 for RFID card, ₹800 alumni fee, a refundable caution deposit of ₹3,000, and ₹142 per odd semester for group insurance. These fees are compulsory along with tuition. Candidates planning to join CUSAT in 2026 should:
