Central University of Karnataka has released the hostel fees for newly admitted PhD scholars for the 2024-25 academic year. The hostel fee will apply from January 1 to May 31, 2025.
CUK University PhD Hostel Fee 2024-25
The hostel fee for newly admitted PhD scholars (both girls and boys) has been provided below. The hostel fee does not include the mess charges.

*Only those scholars who are not receiving any financial assistance
PhD research scholars receiving financial assistance through fellowships (irrespective of their category) such as UGC NET, SISGC, NESC, NFST, NFOBC, and MANF fellowships must submit a claim application for accommodation fees. Further, the newly admitted scholars who are receiving non-NET fellowships must pay the accommodation fee.
PhD Mess Fee 2024-25
The mess fee for both girls and boys is applicable till May 31, 2025. Mess fees for further dates will be updated on the university website.

The hostel and mess fees have to be paid through the Offline Challan / Samarth portal. There is no provision for payment in installments, except in case of exceptional requests by the scholars.
For mess exemption (full-term), candidates have to submit an application at the DSW office. PhD scholars have to submit a copy of the fee receipts/challans at the Office of the Hostel Warden/ Caretaker and the DSW office.
