Content Analyst

Central University of Himachal Pradesh has released the Provisional First Selection List for admission to its Ph.D in Computer Science and Informatics. The selected candidates must deposit the admission fee by February 1, 2025.

The Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) has published the Provisional First Selection List for admission to the Ph.D. program in various disciplines for the academic session 2024-27. Selected candidates must confirm their admission by paying the fee of INR 26,350 before the deadline.

Payment can be made through the CUHP admission portal @cuhimachaladmission.samarth.edu.in, and proof of payment should be sent to the Department of Computer Science and Informatics via email gourav.cuhimachal@hpcu.ac.in.

CUHP PhD 2025 Selection Process

The selection was based on a composite score of 100 marks, calculated through the following weightage:

Undergraduate Degree: 10%
Postgraduate Degree: 30%
JRF/Other Fellowships, NET/SLET/M.Phil/HPKVSPP: 20 marks for JRF/fellowship holders; all other candidates received 20% weightage of their Ph.D. entrance test marks
Subject Knowledge: 10 marks
Concept Note & Presentation: 10 marks
Communication Skills: 10 marks
Interview & Viva-Voce: 10 marks
