NTA will soon release the CUET UG 2026 response sheet and provisional answer key on cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can challenge answers by paying Rs 200 per question. Final result is expected by early July 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a fresh official notice. It confirms the smooth conduct of Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. The CUET UG 2026 response sheet goes live soon at cuet.nta.nic.in. The provisional answer key will follow on the same portal.
The exam was held between May 11 and May 31, 2026. NTA conducted rescheduled exams for affected candidates in early June 2026. The agency will share recorded responses of each candidate online. The question paper used during the exam will also be available.
Candidates who disagree with any answer can raise objections online. They must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question. Payment is accepted through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
How to Download the CUET UG 2026 Response Sheet?
Candidates can follow these steps once the link goes live on the portal.
- Visit the official CUET portal at cuet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for CUET UG 2026 response sheet.
- Log in using the application number and date of birth.
- The response sheet will appear on the screen.
- Download the file and save a copy for future reference.
How to Raise an Objection Against the Provisional Answer Key?
The objection window remains open for a short period only.
- Log in to the candidate portal with your credentials.
- Open the link to challenge the provisional answer key.
- Select the question ID you wish to challenge.
- Upload supporting documents to justify each objection.
- Pay the challenge fee online and submit the form.
- Save the confirmation page for future reference.
How to Calculate Scores Using the Answer Key?
The provisional answer key lets candidates match each recorded response. Each correct match earns marks based on the scheme below. Candidates add the totals across all chosen sections of the exam.
