The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the CUET UG 2026 Final Answer Key. The key is now live on the official portal at cuet.nta.nic.in. The Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate is the CUET UG exam. The final key follows the provisional release and the candidate objection window.

NTA conducted CUET UG 2026 in computer based mode across the country. The first phase ran from May 11 to May 31 2026. A second phase was held on June 6 and 7 2026. The second phase covered candidates hit by a technical glitch on May 30. Admit cards for the rescheduled session went out on June 6 and 7.

NTA reported that 96.6 percent of candidates received their preferred exam city. The exam covers a General Aptitude section, domain subjects and language papers. Each candidate could choose subjects matching their target programme.

What Happens to the Dropped Questions?

NTA removed seven items from the question paper after the expert review. Every candidate who attempted these items receives full credit. This rule applies even if the candidate marked a wrong option. The dropped items cover five different subject papers this year.

Central, state and private universities accept the CUET UG scorecard for admission. The list includes Delhi University, BHU, JNU and Allahabad University. Jamia Millia Islamia and Visva-Bharati also rely on CUET scores. Many private universities have joined the CUET pool in recent years.

Each university publishes its own programme-wise cutoffs after the result. Candidates must register separately on each university admission portal. Domain subjects and language scores carry different weights across courses.
