CUET UG 2024 May 16 Exam Concluded, 15.81 Lakh Test Papers Covered on Day 2

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the 2nd day of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) on May 16, 2024. The exam was held in 1,578 examination centres across the country and abroad. 

According to the NTA, the second day of CUET UG covered around 15.81 lakh test papers in subjects of economics (309), Hindi (102), physics (322) and mathematics/ applied mathematics (319), completing 27.29 per cent of the total examination.

On May 16, the attendance percentage for economics was 309, 102 for Hindi, 322 for physics, and 319 for mathematics/applied mathematics subjects, which were 85%, 78%, 77%, and 78%, respectively.

CUET UG 2024: 72% of Exam Completed Over Two Days, Says NTA

According to the NTA, a total of 72% of the CUET UG 2024 examination has been concluded over two days, specifically on May 15 and 16, 2024.

The CUET UG commenced on May 15 at 2,157 examination centers nationwide, including 26 cities outside the country. On the first day, the NTA concluded the entrance exam for 25,91,014 combinations, which is 44.71% of the total tests.

This year, approximately 13.48 lakh individual candidates are participating in the CUET UG examination, in a hybrid format combining both computer-based testing (CBT) and pen-and-paper formats, covering a total of 57.95 lakh subject combinations.

Meanwhile, the NTA has instructed the candidates in Delhi to download the updated CUET UG admit cards for the exams scheduled on May 17 and 18, 2024. The NTA is conducting the third day of exams, today, May 17, 2024, covering papers for Geography, Physical Education, Business Studies, and Accountancy.
