CUET UG 2024 Candidates to Avoid Unfair Practices During Exam; Check Guidelines Here

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the CUET UG 2024 Exam from May 15-24, 2024. The agency has announced that it will be taking strict measures against students who take unfair means during the CUET UG 2024 Exam. 

If a candidate is caught practising unfair means during, before or after the CUET UG 2024 exam, he/she will be charged with using unfair practices and thus would be booked under the Unfair Means (UFM) case. As a result of this, you will be debarred for three years in the future and will also be liable for criminal action and /or any other action as deemed fit. 

Under such circumstances, your CUET UG 2024 Result will be cancelled and will not be declared with the regular candidates. Your CUET UG 2024 Result will also be cancelled if you appear in any other exam centre than the one allotted to you. 

What are the things that You Should Not Carry to CUET UG 2024 Exam Centre?

Here is a list of things you should not carry with you to CUET UG 2024 Exam centre. If you are found with any of these items, you will not be allowed to sit for the exam anymore. 

1. Any item such as textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
2. Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.
3. Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.
4. Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.
5. Any ornaments/metallic items.
6. Any food items opened or packed, water bottles, etc.
7. Any other item that could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc

Along with this, you will also need to keep in mind the exam day guidelines issued by NTA and also the instructions given by your invigilator during the CUET UG 2024 examination. Here are some exam-day guidelines which you should stick to while appearing for CUET UG 2024 exam. 

What are the Exam Day Guidelines for CUET UG 2024?

• Carry additional photographs (the same as uploaded) on the online application form. It will be posted on the examination room/hall attendance sheet.
• A seat indicating roll number will be allocated. You must sit in the allotted seat only. 
• You should also ensure that the question paper is available on the computer for the subjects indicated on your admit card. If you find other question papers than those opted for, bring them to the invigilator's attention.
• Students must reach the exam center 1 hour before the reporting time to prevent any kind of rush.
• Carry important documents like admit card and valid ID proof mandatorily. 
• In case of any technical problem, students should reach out to the invigilator to fix the technical issue.
• All the calculations/rough work will be done only in the blank sheets. You must write your Roll Number and name on the rough sheets before the exam commences. On completion of the test, you must drop these rough sheets in the designated box, as instructed by the invigilator on duty.
