The registration deadline for CUCET 2026 Phase 1 has been extended, providing additional time to aspirants planning to appear for the entrance examination. As per the latest update, candidates can now complete the CUCET Phase 1 application process till February 15, 2026.

Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a university-level entrance cum scholarship test conducted by Chandigarh University for admission to various UG and PG programs offered in Management, Engineering, Law, Arts, and other streams.

CUCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates appearing for CUCET 2026 are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the university before filling in the application form. The eligibility criteria for CUCET for all the UG and PG courses are briefly mentioned below:

Course Level	Eligibility Requirements
UG Courses	Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
PG Courses	Candidates must have completed graduation with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
Lateral Entry Courses	Candidates must hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
