The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has opened undergraduate (UG) admissions for the 2026-27 academic session on its official website at cusb.ac.in. Candidates must apply through the university’s Samarth admission portal.
As per the official admission notification, applications are being accepted at cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in. Selection to UG programmes will be based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026.
The last date to submit the online application is July 16, 2026. The Round 1 provisional cutoff will be released on July 21, 2026. Round 1 admissions will be conducted on July 21 and July 23, 2026.
CUSB is a central university established under the Central Universities Act, 2009. It offers UG programmes in disciplines including sciences, social sciences, languages, management, law, and media studies.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

The application process is fully online through the Samarth portal. Follow the steps below to complete registration and submit the application before the deadline.
- Visit the official admission portal at cusbcuet.samarth.edu.in.
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number to create login credentials.
- Log in and enter personal, academic, and CUET UG 2026 details.
- Upload the required documents, including a photograph, signature, and academic mark sheets.
- Pay the application fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
- Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
How Will the Round 1 Cutoff Be Released?
The provisional Round 1 cutoff will be published on the Samarth admission portal on July 21, 2026. It will contain programme-wise and category-wise CUET UG 2026 score bands for admission.
Shortlisted candidates must report for admission on July 21 and July 23, 2026. The admission process will include document verification and fee payment according to the schedule issued by the university.
