CU Jharkhand Opens PhD Admissions 2025-26

The Central University of Jharkhand (CU) Jharkhand has announced the commencement of the PhD admission 2026 process for 196 seats across full-time and part-time doctoral programmes in multiple disciplines. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the link (https://www.cuj.ac.in/PHD-2025.php) on the official website,cuj.ac.in, with the last date to apply being December 25, 2025.

According to the official notification, applicants are required to pay an online application fee of INR 2,000 while submitting the form. An additional application fee for every additional program is INR 800 for UR, OBC, and EWS (Male).

Candidates with masters degree in relevant subjects, with at least 55% marks in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade will be allowed for those belonging to the SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently abled and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories.

The PhD programmes are offered across a wide range of departments, including Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geoinformatics, Geography, Education, Anthropology and Tribal Studies, Mass Communication, Political Science, English Studies, Chinese, Tibetan Language and Culture, Theatre Arts, and Economics and Development Studies. The programmes are designed to promote advanced research and academic excellence across technical and non-technical disciplines.
