CSKHPKV has announced the counselling schedule for MSc Agriculture, Community Science, and Basic Sciences. The Round 1 Counselling-cum-Registration will be held on Nov 11 & Nov 12, 2024 at the Dean’s Office.
CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSKHPKV), Palampur, has released the schedule for counselling and admissions for various MSc programs including MSc Agriculture, MSc Community Science, and MSc Basic Science. Counselling for all these courses will be held at the Office of Dean, Postgraduate Studies.
The Round 1 counselling will be held on November 11 & 12, followed by Round 2 counselling on November 18 & 19 for waitlisted candidates. The complete schedule, instructions and documents required for counselling-cum-registration process are given below:

Admission Process
Candidates will be called for counselling based on merit and will need to report in person. Each candidate must mark their attendance to secure their admission and those who arrive after the specified reporting time will not be considered for admission.
Candidates must also note that upon confirmation of admission, they must deposit the required fee and register themselves on or before 4:00 PM on the same day. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their seat.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Mandatory Attendance: Candidates must attend the counselling in person; failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
- Preference: In case of MSc Agriculture, first preference will be given to candidates having BSc/BSc (Hons) Agriculture and second preference will be given to candidates having BSc/BSc (Hons) in Horticulture, Sericulture, or Forestry.
- Documentation Required: Candidates must bring all original certificates and documents for verification. A medical fitness certificate from a government hospital is also required. Listed below are the documents required for counselling:
- 3 scanned copies of mark sheets of high school with passing certificates along with original documents for verification
- 3 scanned copies of mark sheets of 10+2 along with original ones for verification.
- 1 copy of Migration certificate along with original for verification.
- 1 copy of the Character certificate along with the original for verification.
- 2 copies of HP Bonafide certificate with original for verification (if applicable).
- 5 coloured photographs (4 passport sized and 1 of stamp size).
- 2 copies of caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) along with original for verification.
- 1 copy of medical certificate with original for verification.
- 2 copies of income certificate (for fee waiver) with original for verification.
- 3 copies of mark sheets of UG and PG degrees along with original for verification.
- Fee Payment: The requisite fee must be deposited in designated bank accounts through internet banking or other methods, with a computer-generated receipt provided as proof.
- EWS Certificate: Candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category must present a valid Income & Asset certificate.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: In cases of equal merit scores, preference will be given based on entrance exam rank, performance in qualifying examinations, and age.
