Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination are eligible to apply. There is no minimum age limit or percentage requirement for CSEET registration. Undergraduate students can also register for the entrance test.

How to Register for CSEET October 2026?

Visit the official ICSI registration portal at smash.icsi.edu and click on the CSEET registration link.
Fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information in the online form.
Upload required documents including your 10+2 mark sheet or admission letter if appearing.
Complete the payment process by paying the registration fee of Rs. 7,500 and examination fee of Rs. 1,500 through online payment methods.
After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration number and login credentials.

CSEET Exam Pattern and Structure

The CSEET exam consists of four papers covering Business Communication, Fundamentals of Accounting, Economic and Business Environment, and Business Management and Ethics. Each paper carries 100 marks, and the total exam duration is 2 hours for all four papers combined.

The exam follows a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format with no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% in each paper to qualify for the Company Secretary course admission.

How to Download CSEET Admit Card Once Out?

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official ICSI website by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.
The admit card contains essential information including exam date, time, centre location, and important instructions for exam day.
Verify all details on your admit card carefully, including your name, registration number, and exam centre.
Contact ICSI immediately if you find any discrepancies in your admit card before the exam date.

After successful registration, candidates must complete the enrollment process between July 16 and August 15, 2026 without any late fee. Late enrollment is available from August 16 to August 20, 2026 with an additional late fee applicable.

During enrollment, candidates must verify their personal details and exam centre preferences. Admit cards will be issued after the enrollment process is completed, which candidates can download from the official ICSI website.

What’s Next for Students

Carry your admit card and a valid government-issued photo ID to the exam centre on the scheduled date. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam start time to complete the verification process and receive your question paper.

Use only black or blue ballpoint pens for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Do not carry any electronic devices, calculators, or reference materials into the exam hall as per ICSI guidelines.

ICSI will declare the CSEET results within 4-6 weeks after the exam concludes. Qualified candidates can download their score cards from the official website using their registration credentials. The merit list prepared by ICSI will be used by participating universities for Company Secretary course admissions.
