Coursera Partners with IIM Ahmedabad, IIIT Hyderabad to Offer Advanced Digital Transformation and MSc In IT

New Delhi: As a part of a collaboration with Coursera, IIM Ahmedabad will offer a specialization in Advance Digital Transformation. Additionally, Coursera and the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad will offer MSc with a specialisation in Information Technology. 

Coursera has extended this partnership with more than 1000 educational institutions with 55 Coursera for Campus Customers, including XLRI Jamshedpur, Alliance University, Vidyavihar University, and Yenepoya University among others.

Coursera has launched a catalog of learning content in Hindi and it has AI-powered features to make the online learning platform more interactive. All the popular courses that were used by English speakers are made available in Hindi. 

The famous courses include Generative AI for Everyone, Programming for Everybody from the University of Michigan, and What is Data Science, from IBM.

CEO of Coursera, Jeff Maggioncalda said “India’s ambition to become an economy of USD 5 trillion economies is dependent on the ability to develop a skilled workforce and maximise its demographic dividend.”

Currently, over 4,000 courses, including some of the most well-liked ones in India like Supervised Machine Learning: Regression and Classification from DeepLearning, are offered in Hindi. Deep Teaching Solutions, Yale Financial Markets, AI and Stanford, and Learning How to Learn. All course texts, lecture video subtitles, quizzes, assessments, guidelines for peer reviews, and discussion starters are available to learners in their native tongue. 

India's goal of becoming the global centre of education will be made possible by the translation of over 40 courses taught by eminent Indian educators into 18 languages, including French, Spanish, German, and Thai. 

These courses include Introduction to Programming from BITS Pilani, Leadership Skills from IIM Ahmedabad, and Trading Basics from the Indian School of Business.
