COMEDK UGET 2024 Exam Date has been announced on the official website for the engineering stream. The exam is scheduled for May 12. This decision comes as COMEDK has been entrusted by the KUPECA to hold the exam on the second Sunday of May every year
New Delhi: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has scheduled the COMEDK UGET 2024 for May 12, 2024. The COMEDK will soon release the registration and eligibility criteria details on the official website, comedk.org.
The COMEDK UGET schedule had to be adjusted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, COMEDK has been entrusted by the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA), which comprises over 150 engineering colleges, to conduct the examination on the second Sunday of May as per tradition.
The COMEDK authorities have stated that a comprehensive schedule of events and the Information Brochure, including eligibility criteria, will be made available on the official website in due course.
Furthermore, the consortium issued a warning to prospective candidates and their parents, advising them not to share their personal information with third parties, such as agencies and educational consultants, for the purpose of COMEDK UGET Registration.
COMEDK UGET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to appear for the exam must check the COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria mentioned below.
- General candidates must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Class 12 or second PUC, while reserved category candidates (SC, ST, and OBC) need to have a minimum of 40% marks in subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with one of the optional subjects among biotechnology, biology, computer science, or electronics.
- Candidates with a diploma qualification will not be considered eligible for the COMEDK exam in 2024.
COMEDK 2024 Exam Pattern
- As per the COMEDK UGET 2024 exam pattern, the computer-based examination will last for a duration of three hours. The COMEDK question paper will be divided into three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics, comprising a total of 180 questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there will be no penalty for incorrect answers.
- To help students become familiar with the exam pattern, COMEDK will also organize mock tests on the official website, comedk.org, before the actual exam date
