How to Fill Choices for COMEDK Round 3 Counselling 2026?
Candidates must log in to the counselling portal to enter their preferences. Fresh choices can be added, edited, and reordered within the window. The steps to fill choices are given below.
- Visit the official COMEDK portal at comedk.org.
- Log in using the COMEDK UGET 2026 application number and password.
- Open the Round 3 choice filling section on the candidate dashboard.
- Select colleges and BTech branches in order of preference.
- Review the selections carefully and lock them before 2 PM on August 16.
Candidates are advised to check vacant seat data and cut-off ranks before locking their preferences. Both are published on the official COMEDK portal. Locked choices cannot be changed after the deadline.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?
Allotted candidates get four decision options in Round 3. These options decide the next step in the admission process. The choices are explained below.
- Accept and Freeze: The candidate keeps the allotted seat and must report to the college.
- Accept and Upgrade: Not available in the final round of counselling.
- Reject: The candidate exits the counselling process without a seat.
- No Action: The seat is treated as rejected and the candidate exits counselling.
The decision must be made online through the COMEDK portal. The window closes at 4 PM on August 21. Missing this window can lead to loss of the allotted seat.

Who Can Report to the Allotted College?
Only candidates with an Accept and Freeze status are eligible for college reporting. They must report in person to the allotted college with the required documents. Reporting must be done strictly within the schedule to avoid seat loss.
Candidates should confirm the working hours of the allotted college before travel. This is important for Saturdays and public holidays. Late reporting may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.

How to Cancel an Allotted Seat?
The seat cancellation window opens on August 18 at 4 PM. It will close on August 24 at 3 PM. Candidates who wish to withdraw must apply online through the COMEDK portal.
Refund of fees, if any, will be processed as per the official COMEDK refund policy. Candidates are advised to read the counselling process document before cancelling. The document is available on the official website.
