COMEDK Round 1 Counselling 2026 Schedule Released; Check Choice Filling and Seat Allotment Dates

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has released the Round 1 counselling schedule for the 2026 admission cycle. The official notice is now live on the COMEDK portal at comedk.org. Candidates who cleared the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 can now view the full timeline for mock rounds, choice filling, seat allotment, and college reporting.

The counselling process covers admissions to engineering seats across participating private colleges in Karnataka. Only candidates whose uploaded documents have been successfully verified can proceed to the choice filling stage.

COMEDK 2026 Round 1 Counselling Key Dates

The Round 1 timeline begins with the mock choice filling exercise and runs through the seat cancellation window in late July. The complete schedule is listed below.

Registration Fee and Eligibility

The registration fee for COMEDK 2026 counselling is Rs 2,000. This amount is non-refundable and must be paid online through the PayU payment gateway. Only candidates who registered before the June 12 deadline are eligible to participate in Round 1.

Document verification for all registered candidates was completed by June 30, 2026. Candidates who missed verification cannot join the choice filling stage.

How to Fill Choices for COMEDK Round 1 Counselling 2026?

• Visit the official COMEDK portal at comedk.org.
• Log in using your UGET application number and password.
• Open the Round 1 choice filling window under the counselling tab.
• Select preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
• Save the choices and lock the final preference list before July 16.

Candidates who submit a blank choice form after Round 1 will not be eligible for later rounds. Preferences saved during the mock round will not carry over automatically.

How to Check the COMEDK Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on July 17, 2026. Candidates must log in to the portal using their credentials. The result page will display the allotted college, course, and category. Allotted candidates must then pay the college fee and report to the campus within the reporting window.

Only candidates who choose the Accept and Freeze option can secure their allotted seat. Reporting must be done strictly within the deadline.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to comedk.org and confirm document verification status.
2. Participate in the mock round between July 11 and July 13.
3. Fill actual choices between July 14 and July 16.
4. Check the seat allotment result on July 17.
5. Pay the college fee and report to the allotted campus by July 21.
