COMEDK Counselling 2026 Registration Begins; Apply by June 8

COMEDK has announced the start of counselling registration for undergraduate engineering and architecture courses for the 2026-27 academic year. Registration begins May 30, 2026 at 2:30 PM and closes June 8, 2026 at 2 PM. Candidates must register on comedk.org and upload mandatory documents during this window.

The counselling process follows the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam held on May 9, 2026. Qualified candidates who received their rank cards on May 29, 2026 can now proceed with registration. This centralized single-window counselling system ensures fair and transparent seat allocation across 150+ engineering colleges in Karnataka.

COMEDK Counselling 2026 Important Dates

Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC or 12th standard with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. General merit candidates require minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka state require 40% aggregate marks. All subjects must be passed from a single board; marks cards from different boards are not accepted.

For architecture courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science with 45% aggregate marks. All architecture candidates must qualify NATA or JEE Main 2026 Paper 2A aptitude test. COMEDK does not conduct a separate entrance test for architecture admissions.

How to Register for COMEDK Counselling 2026?

• Candidates must visit comedk.org and log in using their application number and password.
• The registration form requires personal details, academic information, and category status confirmation.
• Once submitted, registration cannot be modified, so candidates should verify all information carefully before proceeding.
• After successful registration, candidates must upload scanned copies of mandatory documents.
• All documents must be in PDF or JPEG format with maximum file size of 160 KB.
• Incomplete applications will be rejected automatically without individual notification.

Candidates must upload the following documents during registration: 10th/SSLC marks card, unique government ID proof (Aadhar, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License), color passport-size photograph, candidate signature, parent signature, and parent ID proof.

Karnataka candidates claiming SC/ST/OBC category must also upload category certificate and domicile certificate. Candidates applying for Kalyana Karnataka (KKR) seats must upload KKR certificate with RD number and domicile certificate.

All documents should be scanned clearly in vertical position. Photographs must be recent (not older than three months) with light background and full-face view. Signatures must be done on white paper with black or blue pen. Documents from multiple boards will not be accepted.

COMEDK Counselling 2026 Fee Structure

After document verification, candidates participate in mock allotment round in early July 2026. This helps candidates understand the seat allotment process before actual rounds. Round 1 choice filling and allotment begins in July 2026. Candidates must fill their college and course preferences in order of choice. Seat allotment is based on merit rank, category, and availability of seats in chosen colleges.
