COMEDK 2026 Round 3 Choice Filling Begins; Check Last Date to Submit Choices

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has opened the Round 3 choice filling window for BTech admissions on the official website at comedk.org. The window opens today, August 14, 2026, at 3 PM. Candidates can submit their college and branch preferences until August 16, 2026, at 2 PM.

Only registered candidates who took part in earlier COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling rounds are eligible to fill choices. Round 3 covers the vacant seats left after Round 1 and Round 2 allotment. Aspirants must log in with their COMEDK application number and password to access the choice-filling portal.

The Round 3 seat allotment result will be declared on August 18, 2026, at 4 PM. The decision window for candidates to Accept, Freeze, or Exit will remain open until August 21, 2026, at 4 PM.

How to Fill Choices for COMEDK 2026 Round 3?

Candidates should follow the steps below to submit their preferences within the official window.

1. Visit the official COMEDK portal at comedk.org.
2. Click on the UGET 2026 counselling login link on the homepage.
3. Enter the application number and password to sign in.
4. Open the Round 3 choice filling tab inside the dashboard.
5. Select and arrange preferred colleges and branches in order.
6. Review the entered order and save all selected choices.
7. Lock the final list before the deadline on August 16.

Who Can Take Part in Round 3?

Round 3 is open to candidates who registered for COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling and have a valid rank. Aspirants who accepted and reported in Round 2 are not eligible for fresh choice filling. Candidates who exited the process after Round 2 or did not get a seat can still take part.

The Round 3 seat matrix includes vacant and newly added seats, if any. Applicants must check the updated vacant seat list on the official website before locking choices. Only candidates who select Accept and Freeze after allotment must report to the allotted college on time.

How to Report to the Allotted College?

Candidates who choose Accept and Freeze after the August 18 allotment must report to the college. The reporting window will remain open from August 18 at 4 PM until August 24 at 12 Noon. Reporting must be completed within the schedule to avoid losing the allotted seat.

Applicants should carry original certificates, admission order, fee receipt, and identity proof to the college. Missing the reporting deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat without refund of fees paid.
