COMEDK 2026 Counselling Registration Deadline Extended at comedk.org; Check New Last Date to Apply

COMEDK has extended its UGET 2026 counselling registration deadline at comedk.org. COMEDK stands for the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The new last date is 2 PM on June 10, 2026. The earlier cut-off was 2 PM on June 8, 2026. Candidates now have two extra days to finish the process.

The extension also covers the document upload window for all aspirants. Document verification at allotted colleges will continue till June 30, 2026. The Rs 2,000 registration fee remains non-refundable for every candidate. Aspirants who miss the new deadline cannot enter the counselling rounds.

COMEDK 2026 Counselling Important Dates

COMEDK 2026 Registration Fee and Payment Modes

Each candidate must pay Rs 2,000 as the counselling registration fee. The payment is processed through the PayU portal. PayU may add small convenience charges over the base fee. The amount is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Payment can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Candidates should save a screenshot of the payment confirmation page. They should also keep the transaction reference number safely for later use.

COMEDK 2026 Seat Categories and Programmes

COMEDK 2026 counselling has only two seat categories this year. These are General Merit and Kalyana Karnataka Region (KKR) seats. KKR seats are reserved for eligible candidates from the Kalyana Karnataka region.

The counselling covers 88 engineering branches across participating colleges in Karnataka. Streams range from Aeronautical Engineering to VLSI Design. It also includes 9 architecture and design branches for eligible aspirants.

Required Documents and Verification Window

Scanned copies of all key documents must be ready before login. The detailed checklist is shared in the official FAQs at comedk.org. Every file must be clear, readable, and under 1 MB in size.

Document verification will run in parallel through the month of June. The status will appear inside the document upload tab on the dashboard. Choice filling will open only after verification is marked complete. Candidates with rejected files may be asked to re-upload corrected copies.

What Happens After the Registration Closes?

The next step is document verification by the COMEDK office. Candidates can track the verification status inside the candidate dashboard. Once cleared, candidates will move to the choice filling stage. Choice filling involves selecting preferred colleges and branches in order. Seat allotment will follow based on UGET 2026 rank and entered choices.

COMEDK has not yet announced the choice filling dates for 2026. The schedule will be published on the official website in due course. Candidates should check the portal regularly for fresh notices.

The full process is online and must be completed before the new deadline. Candidates should follow the six steps below carefully.

• Log in using your COMEDK UGET 2026 application credentials.
• Open the Counselling Registration tab on the candidate dashboard.
• Pay the Rs 2,000 non-refundable fee through the PayU gateway.
• Upload scanned copies of required documents, each below 1 MB.
• Recheck document clarity before clicking the final submit button.
